UFOs and Other Stuff

As before, I've been spending a lot of time reading UFO websites, and finding others in the process. My original involvement was to research Erich VonDaenikens book; Chariots of the Gods?. It has since then gone deeper into ufology than I thought.

There have been the usual sightings stories, and abduction stories, but then it got even stranger. Intentional contact with our ancient ancestors. Deliberate manipulation of the human gene-pool. And and alteration of the timeline of human history. Stargates, bases on the moon and Mars. It gets overwhelming. (see articles on Project Camelot)projectcamelot.org

I'll get back to this later, right now my head is still spinning.

As I have been reading VonDaneiken's book, Chariot's of the Gods?, I have begun to wonder about religions being an expression of devotion to the 'Gods'. And what if the Gods were space faring aliens? In some ways, that is a disturbing question. But I also find it intriguing, in a strange kind of way.

I have become interested enough to bookmark a few websites about aliens and UFOs. The more I read, the more my world view changes. From Gods being considered as aliens from outer space, to the aliens being considered as explorers, having stopped by, or chosen planet earth to use as a inter breeding ground. To create slave labor., to what end? I haven't quite found out yet. Maybe a stepping stone to galactic domination?

Those are some of the theories I have come across in my readings. Sometimes, it is fascinating. And sometimes, it is overwhelming.

New Reading Material

Since taking a step out of my religious mindset, I've been doing a lot of that lately, I've begun looking at things differently. I've been out of my religious mindset for quite a while, and I've been thinking about things differently a bit more recently.

My religious mindset was Christian for years or so. In the last 3 -4 years I have been outside of that mindset. Looking at life from a non-Christian mindset. Not that Christianity is wrong, but more like it's not the only world-view around. So what have I concluded? Well, that there's other world-views, and I am opening my mind to think about them objectively.

In the process, I have begun reading a book thats been around for decades, "Chariots of the Gods" by VonDanichan. Interesting, but so far a little too melodramatic for me at first blush. But I will finish reading it. Have also been reading a series by an author Robert Doraty, called Area 51. It's very interesting. In a nutshell, he weaves a story together using all the UFO props and places. One of the characters is the aliens, and we have yet to find out what happened with them and what they will do to earth and the mainly involved human characters.

I have also begun looking more into astrology. Not so much as a hard core convert, but more as a casual observer. There are some people at work who are aware of astrological things, and I think it gives an interesting perspective on life and life events.
